It was great to see so many men and women at our Men's Health Event. Community Involvement is what a town needs to survive and we are fortunate that we have people who enjoy coming to our events.
We held this event in partnership with “The Cancer Council” and “Regional Men's Health”. Regional Mens Health provided a ‘Pitstop’ to start off the evening where the men had their oil pressure, shockies and chassis checked. Everyone then sat down to a delicious dinner. The salads were catered for by KCs Café and the meat was from Koorda Meat Supplies. After dinner Karen Hansen, from the “Cancer Council” talked about various cancers that relate to men some signs and symptoms to watch for. There was a short break and then Terry Melrose, from Regional Men's Health talked on Men's sexual wellbeing and health. We have had very positive feedback from those who have attended.
